Installation

This guide will walk you through the process of installing Manthana AI on your system. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful installation.

Prerequisites

Before installing Manthana AI, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • Minimum 16GB RAM

  • 4-core CPU or better

  • 20GB free disk space

  • NVIDIA GPU (optional, for improved performance)

  • Internet connection (for initial setup)

Software Requirements

No additional software is required beforehand. The installation process will handle everything needed, including:

  • Ollama (will be installed if not present)

  • Required language models

  • Vector store setup

Installation Steps

Step 1: Download the Bundle

  1. Visit www.instaappt.org

  2. Click on the "Download" button to get the bundle file

  3. The download ZIP will include three essential files:

    • Manthana-AI.pfx (certificate file)

    • manthana-ai_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe (installer)

    • models.zip (required language models)

Step 2: Run the Installer

  1. Locate the downloaded manthana-ai_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe file

  2. Double-click to run the installer

Step 3: Installation Configuration

Follow the installation wizard carefully:

  1. Click "Next" on the welcome screen

  2. Leave the default installation path unchanged

Important: Do not modify the default installation path as it may cause issues with model loading

  1. Click "Next" to begin the installation

  2. Wait for the installation to complete

Step 4: Complete the Installation

When the installation finishes, you'll see the completion screen:

  1. Important: Uncheck "Run manthana-ai"

  2. Optionally check "Create a desktop shortcut"

  3. Click "Finish"

Step 5: Copy Model Files

  1. Go to your Desktop

  2. Right-click on the Manthana AI shortcut

  3. Select "Open file location"

  4. Navigate to the "binaries" folder

  5. Copy the models.zip file from your download location to this folder

Step 6: Launch Manthana AI

  1. Return to your Desktop

  2. Double-click the Manthana AI icon to launch the application
